1. Who we are
GridFog Group runs Pagejar and is responsible for the personal information described here. Write to us at hello@pagejar.com.
2. Information we collect
From store owners (you):
- account details: your name, email address, phone number and a securely scrambled (hashed) password
- billing details: your plan, invoices, payment status and the payment reference from the gateway. Card and mobile banking details are handled by the payment gateway, not stored by us
- your store: the pages, products, prices, photos and settings you add, and the details of the services you connect
From your customers, when they order from your pages: their name, phone number, delivery address and what they ordered. For this information you are the seller and we handle it on your behalf to run your store.
From everyone who uses Pagejar: technical information such as IP address, browser, device and pages visited, which we use to keep the service working and secure.
3. How we use it
- to create your account, run your store and deliver your pages and orders
- to take payments, send invoices and keep your plan up to date
- to protect the service and your store from fake orders, bots and abuse
- to answer your messages and send important notices about your account
- to fix problems and improve Pagejar
- to meet our legal duties
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with those who help us run the service, and only as needed:
- payment gateways, to take and confirm payments
- our hosting and infrastructure providers, which store and deliver your pages and data
- couriers, domain providers and other services that you choose to connect
- authorities, when the law requires it
If you add Meta Pixel to your pages, Meta receives information about visitors to those pages under its own policies. You are responsible for that choice and for telling your visitors.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. Our order forms use a bot check for the same reason. If you block these, parts of Pagejar may not work.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open and for as long as we need it for billing, security and legal reasons. After that we delete it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
7. Keeping it safe
We protect your information with measures such as scrambled passwords, encrypted connections and limited access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
8. Where it is stored
Our providers run servers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We choose providers that protect it to a similar standard.
9. Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to some uses of it. Write to us at hello@pagejar.com. If you are a customer of one of our store owners, please contact that store first, because they decide what to do with your order information.
10. Children
Pagejar is not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information for our own use.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the date above, and tell you if the change is important.
